On June 14, 2012, the U.S. Labor Department awarded nearly $147 million in Workforce Innovation Fund grants to 26 grantees nationwide – these grants will support, enhance, and evaluate innovative employment and training opportunities.
The EARN forum will educate, promote, and motivate employers who employ individuals with disabilities or have injured employees that are returning to work. In addition, EARN will provide an understanding of the advantages and benefits of hiring job seekers with disabilities.
The Hiring Red, White & You statewide job fair seeks to connect Texas veterans with Texas employers who value the experience, discipline and other exceptional qualities inherent with a military background.

Workforce Solutions Cameron provides a mix of services to employers designed to meet their workforce expansion and or retraining needs. The mix also includes services to employers undergoing workforce downsizing. (CONT)

One Stop Workforce Centers in Brownsville and Harlingen use technology and expertise to connect employers with qualified job seekers. Services such as, Work-in-Texas and internet access are readily available at no cost. (CONT)

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) purchases child care for eligible families through Child Care Delivery Services. This program helps parents who are striving to become self-sufficient (CONT)
