Southwest Key Workforce Development Workforce Contractor - RFP CLOSED

SWK is soliciting quotes from interested and qualified providers to serve as employer of record and provide personnel services for Workforce customers placed on subsidized employment for a specified training period. SWK serves the Cameron County Workforce Development Area. SWK manages the one stop centers and provides workforce programs under Federal and State funding sources. The number of participants varies as to the program funding available. For the period of October 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017, SWK has served approximately 350 customers through subsidized employment.

RFQ Questions and Responses:

 

  1. What is the average length of temporary assignment for participants (customers)?  Assignments typically last from 4 weeks to 12 weeks.

 

  1. Can you provide the Workers’ Compensation codes for the light industrial positions?  Or can you provide codes used for 2016?  Bidders should propose codes they are willing to cover, in accordance with current Texas Department of Insurance Worker’s Compensations Manual.  

 

  1. What were the total number of participants (customers) and revenue for 2016?  Approximately 355 participants at an annual expense of $995,000.
